New Pamphlet Released on Rand's Political Thought

The Objectivism Store announces the publication of "Radical for Capitalism," a new introduction to the political theory of Ayn Rand by William Thomas. The Objectivism Store pamphlet is derived from an earlier version of the essay that Thomas wrote for publication in a prominent new encyclopedia of American political thinkers, to be titled History of American Political Thought, edited by Bryan-Paul Frost of the University of Louisiana and Jeffrey Sikkenga of Ashland University, forthcoming from Lexington Publishers. "Radical for Capitalism" is an accessible introduction that surveys the key ideas of Rand's politics, including her emphasis on individual rights, limited government, and objective law. Thomas contrasts Rand's views with traditional liberalism and conservatism, and shows how Rand's thought stands out for its radical and innovative approach to the ethical basis of capitalism.
